Corales Puntacana Championship: Posted first runner-up of his PGA TOUR career with a T2 at the Corales Puntacana Championship. Marked his third consecutive top-25 at the event.
2021 Season
Made four PGA TOUR starts, making all four cuts and posting three top-30s, highlighted by a T14 at the 2020 Corales Puntacana Championship, for enough non-member FedExCup points to earn a spot at the 2021 Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Made the cut at all three Finals events and closed with results of T4 and T15, enough to finish No. 12 on The Finals 25 and earn his first PGA TOUR card. Had the low round of the LOCALiQ Series season, a 60 at the Classic at Callaway Gardens. In his seven starts, made six cuts and enjoyed three top-10s to place ninth on the final points list.

Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship: Capped the week with three consecutive rounds in the 60s (67-67-66) for a 14-under 270 and T4 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The finish secured his first PGA TOUR card.

Auburn University Club Invitational: Opened with a 10-under 62 at the Auburn University Club in early July to hold the 18-hole lead. Shot three more under-par rounds, including a 67-68 finish that left him T3 with Lukas Euler, Bryson Nimmer and Justin Doeden, three strokes behind winner Philip Knowles.

L&J Golf Championship at Jennings Mill Country Club: Shot four under-par rounds at Jennings Mill CC, closing with a 4-under 68, to finish T5 in late-June with Clay Feagler, Carter Jenkins and Peyton White.

Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship: Opened 70-67-72 in only his third PGA TOUR start and second as a professional. Shot a 3-under 69 on the final day at Corales GC to T14 with six others, including fellow LOCALiQ Series player Justin Suh.
2020 Season
Monday-qualified into the PGA TOUR’s Waste Management Phoenix Open but missed the cut.

The Invitational at Auburn University Club (LOCALiQ Series): Continued his solid play but had another disappointing finish. Took the lead in to the final round at Auburn University Club but could only manage an even-par 72 on Friday to fall into a T4 with Trace Crowe. Was 1-over through five holes but got to 2-under for the day through 13 and still in the mix. Played is final five holes in 2-over.

The Classic at Callaway Gardens (LOCALiQ Series): Established a LOCALiQ Series 18-hole scoring record with his 12-under 60 in the second round at Callaway Gardens’ Mountain Course. Took a share of the lead with Eric Steger with 18 holes to play and was still 3-under for the day through 11 holes even with a double bogey at No. 4. His hopes of winning ended when he made another double bogey on 12. Dropped two more shots to shoot an even-par 72 to fall into a T9 with four others.

Alpharetta Classic (LOCALiQ Series): Moved up 14 leaderboard positions on the final day at The GC of Georgia, thanks to a closing, 9-under 63. Ended the event in third on the strength of nine birdies. Was bogey-free over his final 23 holes.

Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-USA East 1: Used a 4-under start (69-71) to finish T3 at Mission Inn Resort and Club’s El Campeon Course. Tied with Alex Smalley, three shots behind winner Isaiah Salinda. The finish earned him exempt status for the first half of the Forme Tour season.
Amateur Highlights
- Finished one stroke back of the all-time scoring record during the stroke-play portion of the 2016 U.S. Amateur, capturing medalist honors by shooting 65-68. Defeated Dawson Armstrong and Gavin Hall by a shot. Lost in the match play round of 32 to Dylan Meyer.
- Member of both the 2019 U.S. Arnold Palmer Cup team and the Walker Cup team, registering a 3-1-0 record in each event. His Walker Cup participation made him only the second Blue Devil in history to play in the tournament (Dick Siderowf: 1969, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1979).
- Two-time winner of the Sunnehanna Amateur Championship, in 2018 and 2019, defeating Quade Cummins and Garett Reband, respectively.
- Was a four-year letterman at Duke. Was a Ping and Golfweek second-team All-American selection in 2019. Was also the 2019 Duke Scholar Athlete of the Year.
- Made his PGA TOUR debut, qualifying for the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills, shooting 7-under par in the 36-hole qualifier. Went on to miss the cut.
